Once you have booked your trip(s) you will receive a receipt / confirmation of booking to your email. This will act as your ticket. We no longer send tickets in the post. You will find out your seat number on the day, we always sit groups together where possible.

The Whitby Regatta attracts thousands of visitors every year. Here you can enjoy a full day of free entertainment, embracing yacht racing, rowing races and various entertainment for all the family.
Itinerary
We depart Jesmond Street depot at 07:00 and The Halston, Warwick Road at 07:30am, a short comfort stop will be offered on route. We are expected to arrive at Whitby between 10:30am & 11am depending on traffic. We will drop off passengers at the Old Co-Op Store. We will be departing Whitby at approx 5:30pm expecting to be back in the local area for around 8:30/9pm
(pick ups Aldi London Road, Penrith (please quote pick up point at time of booking or we would assume a depot / The Halston pick up)

Family run Irving’s Coach Hire was established back in 1965 by the late Mr Irving. The company started as Irving’s Minibus hire in Canal yard in Carlisle and then gradually expanded over 50 years to the successful business that it is today.
As the company grew Mr Irving moved to Jesmond Street and acted with great inspiration for the people of Carlisle when he started his own day trips.
Now we operate a fleet of 53 seater coaches & a 16 seater minibus for school runs, private hire, short breaks & day trips.
